Our Verdict
The Crane Adorable is a good option for general home use. Its capacity is well-suited to spaces like smaller living rooms or playrooms. While it lacks an onboard humidistat and can't automatically adjust its mist output to meet your desired humidity level, it has an automatic shutoff to prevent damage if the water tank runs dry. On that note, the Adorable's 4.1 L (1.1 gal) tank allows it to run for up to 19 hours, so you won't have to worry about filling it up very often.

The Crane Adorable is a very good option for bedrooms. Its compact, cute design will fit most kids' bedrooms, even on a nightstand or shelf. It also runs very quietly and has no super-bright LED displays, so it won't be a major disturbance for those trying to sleep. Its runtime is also fairly long, and as long as you fill its tank, it won't run dry overnight.

The Crane Adorable is decently easy to clean. Only six parts need periodic cleaning, and they're all pretty easy to remove. Unfortunately, no components are dishwasher-safe. The water tank also has a few tight spots that can be difficult to reach, so you might want to use a really thin brush or scrubby to deal with grime or mold.
This is a pretty basic humidifier. The front dial adjusts the mist level. There's also an automatic off function for when the tank runs dry.
This is an efficient humidifier, which isn't surprising considering it's a cool mist ultrasonic unit.
The Crane Adorable's overall efficiency is also impressive. While using it in colder, drier months means your heating system may have to work a little harder than usual, the difference is minimal.
